Links That Go To Specific Part Of Template

hello vipers so this what's the flow

we're going to talk about how you can

use anchor links to be able to let

people click on a place in either your

newsletter like an email template that's

sent to them or a landing page and what

that'll do is it'll just bring them to a

specific part of that page with that

single click uh so this is really useful

for instance for a table of contents as

an example so we got right here

our HTML template

Builder scroll right down here and I'm

going to show how to do this with this

button link as well as this text section

here it's basically the same thing so

the first step is to go down to that

section that you want to take somebody

to so in this case we're just going to

be doing this with the blog section of

this temp so we scroll down here right

here new articles in our blog we click

there and then we're going to go over

here and scroll down to add an anchor

link Now by default this is going to be

looking like this it's going to be

turned off so we turn it

on and it's going to be the Anchor's

name is what we're going to put there

now that this is completely up to you I

would just give it a short descriptive

name and you have to note that it can't

have any spaces in it or anything like

that I would recommend like in this case

it's can be blog i' just

say and if you wanted

to make multiple words I would recommend

using a hyphen so we could say maybe

like a

new new articles

blog um but for this case let's just

keep it like that oops let's go back

here

and so copying

this then we're going to go back to the

places that we're going to add these

anchor

links

and click where you want to add your

link and we're going to add this as a

link now what we're going to do is take

the uh the landing page link itself and

then it's going to be basically like

that you know hashtag symbol and that

anchor link text that we created so um

we're actually going to just copy this

really because uh and we're just going

to call blog so we're g to go here go

to

whoops there we go this is what we're

looking

for

paste that hash symol

blog and it's going to actually just be

that simp simple so whatever it is that

you have created as your anchor text

that is going to be what you put in here

so also right here say

blog go back here to make it into a

link we're going to paste

our uh our landing page link add the

hashtag symbol and oops and blog now

let's see this in

action so save and preview

and here we go click for our blog

clicking on it and now this has opened

up a new tab and it has taken me

straight here new articles in our blog

go over

here we're going to click on that link

right there and here we go let's open

that new tab again send us straight to

new articles in our blog so I hope this
