Private files are an Enterprise-only feature designed for teams of users to be able to share files with one-another that will only be viewable for someone who has an active, logged-in session of VipeCloud in their browser.
When in doubt, we recommend using the "sharable" setting when uploading files. That's the proper setting for most cases.
Remember, if you upload an image and set it as "Visible Only To Your Account Users" and send it in a mass email,
Video and audio files will automatically be shareable because their use case is entirely that of being shared.
You can manage the status of a file by going to your Content, clicking on the name of the file and then toggling the choice in the "Privacy" section. If going from private to shareable, note that the file might still be accessible to people outside of your team for up to 24 hours due to caching.
