Custom Sidebar

hello vipers let's talk about custom

sidebars so the sidebar is the

navigation options you have here on the

left

and you're able to show hide and

rearrange all of these items as well so

that the the items that you need to use

most frequently are up top and if there

are any that you just never use and you

don't need to see then you can hide them

so that things are tidied up which could

be particularly useful if you're using a

like a laptop or something with a

smaller screen

so first of all there are three default

uh sidebars that you have available got

all in one social suite and text suite

and so all in one will show you

everything social Suite will just show

you a selection of social only uh

functionalities and texting right here

also does the same

now uh you by going to custom sidebar

you'll then be given one that will be

that'll show your name and say like for

instance in this case it says Drew's

sidebar which is the custom one so to

First create that custom sidebar you can

go to customize sidebar right here

and now going down here

you'll see well actually let me go back

here to show all in one so we can see

everything so first of all you can

reorder the sections and the sections

are contacts items and communication

like you see right here so if you want

to put contacts up top you go here to

reorder sections have contacts up there

and there we go now we see contacts up

top

and then when you go down through these

various sections you can reorder what is

displayed right here

so for instance I could put accounts up

top

and if I wanted to I could also go to

hide contact lists

and when I re refresh the page

these changes will be seen so we have

contacts or accountants up top and we

don't see contact lists

going into some of these categories that

have uh child elements such as emails

you can see right here again same sort

of deal where we can reorder these

various items here but we can also then

go into the child elements or we can

also hide all and when you hide all that

will then hide that entire section so in

this case let's go and hide text

refresh

and now we no longer see texts here

now editing the child elements is how

you can edit all of these right here

so in this case I could for instance

hide reputation

and put Mass up top

refresh

now mass emails are up top and

reputation isn't showing

and this the same can be done for uh for

any of these additional items here

so that's how you can go about
